Check it out – Owen from the Research and Advocacy Program of FIDEC  sent these pictures with our Quit Coal Quilts from Cebu. This group of students, professors, and foreign visitors were toured by the locals around the coal ash dump sites. While full operation of the plant is still next year,  nearby residents are already suffering from the effects on their health and environment, making them more realize the need to continue the fight against the coal plant.
