Fread began his journey as an urban poor youth and community organizer, grounded in his early work with the church and community programs focused on child and youth development. With a background in theology, he has long believed in the power of faith and collective action to drive social transformation. Over the years, he has grown into a dedicated development worker, poet and climate justice advocate, working within the Philippine climate movement to advance inclusive and community-led climate solutions. As the National Coordinator of 350 Pilipinas, he supports campaigns that promote renewable energy, sustainable mobility, and social equity. His work bridges grassroots organizing with national and regional initiatives, emphasizing people’s participation in shaping climate solutions. Guided by his values of compassion and justice, Fread continues to build movements for a just and sustainable future. Beyond his advocacy, he is a proud husband to Angelyn, father to their daughter Akasya, and a loving fur parent to several rescued cats and dogs.

Youth Engagement Campaigner

 

Jean is the Youth Engagement Campaigner of 350 Pilipinas. She leads initiatives that engage students in science-based and just climate action. Drawing on her experience in government and international non government organization settings, she inspires and equips young people to lead climate initiatives rooted in knowledge, teamwork, and a common goal of a sustainable future. She is also a mental health advocate and ally, and a strong supporter of sustainable mobility through cycling. During her time off work, she enjoys exploring mountains and beaches, and biking up to Antipolo, Rizal. Her deep love for nature inspires her to advocate for its protection, so that future generations may also experience its beauty and serenity.

Jawo is a queer climate activist, bike commuter, and advocate for safe, inclusive, and sustainable mobility. He was formerly a student activist and campus journalist at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, where he took Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He currently serves as the Campus Engagement Campaigner for 350 Pilipinas, a climate justice advocacy organization. His work focuses on organizing academic and urban communities to participate in climate action and contribute to sustainable solutions.

 

Jojo Morillo

Jojo Morillo

Community Engagement Campaigner

 

Jojo is the current Community Engagement Campaigner of 350 Pilipinas. He began his activism in 2005 leading and organizing student-led movements. After working in various service jobs, he developed a deeper understanding of precarious labor conditions, which fueled his commitment to fight for workers’ rights. By 2016, he became a full-time labor organizer in Metro Manila—helping workers form unions, assert their rights, and build collective power. His organizing later expanded to urban poor communities and climate justice work. Today, Jojo brings his experience as a labor leader and grassroots organizer into climate campaigns, supporting communities and advancing people-powered climate solutions with 350 Pilipinas.

Ogie is the Energy Transition Campaigner at 350 Pilipinas. With over two decades of experience in various international NGOs, he focuses on advancing energy and environmental campaigns, working closely with organizations and private entities to promote a just energy transition at the institutional level. Ogie values collaborating with community partners and volunteers– connecting with like-minded individuals, exchanging ideas, and learning from every encounter. Most mornings, he takes long walks to reflect, recharge, and strive to become a better version of himself.

Clean Air Campaigner

 

Ara is the Clean Air Campaigner at 350 Pilipinas, where he drives crucial initiatives for climate justice, clean air, and the transition away from fossil fuels in the Philippines. Ara’s work is characterized by bridging community action, policy advocacy, and public engagement through network building with partner organizations, cycling communities, national agencies and local government units. He led the Clean Air Campaign, notably driving the “Ride for Their Lives”, “Breathing Billboard” and “Life in a Bubble” campaigns leveraging government agencies to update the Philippine Clean Air Act to align with World Health Organization (WHO) standards.

Sustainable Transport Campaigner

 

Jheny is the Sustainable Transport Campaigner for 350 Pilipinas working on several projects including sustainable development of public transport and EV adoption on transport and last-mile delivery. As a program manager, she leads research projects and stakeholders engagement in promoting sustainable transportation. Jheny also volunteers in a women’s organization and has special interest in gender-responsive social actions. Before joining 350 Pilipinas, Jheny worked as a travel and tours manager for 7 years. Outside of work, Jheny is a proud mother of an #AUsome child and spends her free time crocheting, knitting and watching BL series.

Creative & Active Mobility Campaigner

 

Johnny is the Active Mobility Campaigner and Creative Staff at 350 Pilipinas. His core expertise is artivism, which merges art and advocacy to champion climate and mobility justice. He advocates for cycling as a “tool for liberation,” leading campaigns for safer, more inclusive streets. His notable works include the Tarot-styled paintings from the “Alas ng Bayan” exhibit and the painting “Esercito Liberato” (Hukbong Mapagpalaya), which links worker dignity to a fossil-free future. Johnny uses his creativity to translate complex social and environmental challenges into accessible, powerful calls for collective action.

Communications and Multimedia Manager

 

Nadia designs and implements communication strategies across internal and external channels, and multimedia storytelling to drive measurable impact and amplify organizational campaigns on climate solutions, active mobility, gender, and labor advocacies. With over a decade of combined experience in the ESG, support sector, and community-based organizing, Nadia is skilled in diverse media formats. They hold postgraduate credentials in Filipino Literature (Panitikan) and Creative Writing. Currently, Nadia serves as the Communications and Multimedia Manager at 350 Pilipinas, often found drawing doodles in between campaigns.

Jorr is a Communications Fellow at 350 Pilipinas, engaging with local grassroots communities and the media to amplify campaign stories related to clean, renewable energy transition in the Philippines. Before joining 350 Pilipinas, she worked as an editor at an international publishing company for almost five years. Jorr has been supporting communication campaigns advocating for climate and energy just transition, focusing on decarbonization in urban communities in the Philippines. Her passion for green energy enables her to align practical solutions with strategies that are tailored  for the masses.​ Jorr holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Research from PUP-Manila. After a productive day at work, Jorr enjoys bonding with her dog to unwind.

Jhaii is the Admin and Finance Officer who supports the organization’s efficiency by combining administrative precision with financial accountability. With nearly three years of experience in a similar role, she has a strong background in managing financial records, preparing government remittances, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. She also leads the documentation process for both monthly and annual reports. Outside of work, Jhaii is a proud mother of two—a role that has strengthened her patience, time management, and sense of responsibility, qualities she brings into her professional life every day.

Administrative Officer

 

Maldyn is the Administrative Officer for 350 Pilipinas, responsible for administration and logistics in implementing community-building initiatives. Outside of his work responsibilities, he expresses his art through music as a member of a band. Maldyn creates songs that reflect emotions and the realities happening around us, turning experiences, struggles, and stories into sound. Music is his way of connecting with others; a form of advocacy and self-expression that keeps him grounded and inspired.
