MANILA, 29 November 2019:Youth climate advocates along with different sectors light up Christmas lanterns with their climate demands to world leaders meeting this coming December 2-13 in Madrid, Spain for the United Nations climate change conference.

This action is part of the Global Strike 4 Future, in which millions of demonstrators worldwide will be calling on individuals and all levels of government to work together to take urgent action to tackle the defining issue of our time – climate change.

Filipino strikers are calling on President Duterte and other world leaders to stop all coal and other fossil fuel-powered projects, and usher in a low energy economy by supporting community-led renewable energy solutions.
