The year started with the rise of movements and regimes that threatened our gains IN CLIMATE ACTION AND CLEAN ENERGY.

But the CLIMATE movement rose to the challenge.

Widespread protests commemorated the 45th anniversary of Ferdinand Marcos' Martial Law Declaration as activists, relatives of those killed in the drug war, indigenous peoples communities, human rights advocate, students, church people, artists, environmentalists, anarchists and punk rockers rage against the rise of extrajudicial killings and the emerging fascist state in the Philippines.
