350NJ-Rockland is the local, all-volunteer chapter of 350.org, operating in New Jersey and Rockland County, NY.

Rehoboth Beach, DE – July 23rd, 2022

On July 23rd, 2022, activists from various organizations including 350NJ-Rockland went to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to protest plans to build 2 liquid natural gas export terminals along the Delaware River in Chester, PA and Gibbstown, NJ. Fossil Fuel Moratorium Rally, Trenton, NJ – June 23rd, 2022

Despite being a rainy day, on June 23rd, 2022 over 200 people rallied in Trenton and walked to the NJ State House calling on Governor Murphy to cancel 7 new fossil fuel projects waiting to be approved. 350NJ-Rockland members and supporters were there to support the cause. Poor Peoples March, Washington D.C. – June 18th, 2022

350NJ-Rockland was represented at the June 18th, 2022 Poor Peoples Campaign March in Washington D.C. Thousands came from all over the United States answering the call for a “Moral Revival” and the building of a “Movement to Reconstruct American Democracy”. Earth Day Fest, Highland Park, NJ – May 1st, 2022

MLK Rally, Newark, NJ – April 4th, 2022

On April 4th, 2022, People’s Organization for Progress and many other groups sponsored a Newark, NJ day of remembrance for Dr. Martin Luther King. He was assassinated on this day in 1968. Fridays For Future Rally, New York City – March 25th, 2022

Led by a small army of inspiring youth, roughly 2,000 people marched across the Brooklyn Bridge to Foley Square on March 25, 2022 as part of the worldwide Fridays For Future climate strike.  Fridays For Future derives its roots from teen climate hero Greta Thunberg.  350 New Jersey-Rockland was there supporting our next generation of (More...)

Vigil for Ukraine, Montclair, NJ – March 6th, 2022

350NJ-Rockland supporters participated in a vigil sponsored by NJ Peace Action in Montclair to stop the war against Ukraine. Many passing cars honked in support. Climate Action Now Rally, Montclair, NJ – November 6th, 2021
