350 NJ-R members taking part in the 8th Annual commemoration of the Lac-Megantic bomb train tragedy that took place in Quebec in 2013, where 47 people were killed, when a train carrying volatile Bakken crude oil derailed. On Wednesday, March 5, two 350NJ-R Steering Group members joined a Stop The Money Pipeline (STMP) in a NYC protest at BlackRock and Chase. STMP seeks to get investment houses, banks, insurers, and pension funds to withdraw their support from the fossil fuel industry. Roseland Against the Compressor Station, supported by members of 350NJ-Rockland, had a good action in front of the Roseland, NJ gas compressor station that we’ve been fighting since 2013. After holding signs and getting lots of supportive honks, more than we’ve ever gotten before, from the many cars passing by, we took the picture below. (More...)

350NJ-R members joined over 100 people gathered in Red Bank on September 26th, 2020 to rally and paddle across the river to Governor Phil Murphy’s home to halt building of the Southern Reliability Link (SRL) gas pipeline and to demand a moratorium on all fossil fuel expansion projects.
