350 HUMBOLDT BUS ADVENTURES #3
350 Humboldt has a bus project which aims to promote bus ridership by planning fun bus outings combined with lunch, hiking, whatever else we think of that would be fun. We get to meet in person (not on a screen), talk about climate work or just get to know each other and enjoy the day. We hope to lower barriers to bus riding by doing it together and sharing knowledge of how to do it. Our next bus adventure is planned for Thursday 2/9, and you are invited.
You might be thinking, “Didn’t they bus to Trinidad 2 weeks ago?” It was planned but had to be rescheduled. That means you get another chance to chat with climate activists while riding the bus to lovely Trinidad. We will have picnic lunch (bring your own) near the library. Then, you can either ride the bus back right away or hike with some of us to Trinidad Beach/Trinidad Head and then catch a later bus back. Added benefit-if you are not already a seasoned bus rider, you will get more comfortable and knowledgeable. I will bring paper bus schedules to hand out.
Date: Thursday Feb 9th
Going North
Time: We will ride Bus #17 that gets to Trinidad at 11:58
Eurekans can catch it around 10:45, depending on your stop
Arcatans: I will be catching it at G and 5th at 11:05 am
Going South
If you are just eating lunch and going home, the bus leaves Trinidad at 12:46
If you are staying for the hike, we will catch the next bus at 3:40.

Warning-we now know that google maps will also give you routes but it turns out they can give inaccurate info, so double check if you use google maps
