Your Impact

Involvement in 350 Humboldt can have multiple impacts, not only for the individuals who choose to get involved, but also for the broader community, the environment, and the global fight against climate change.

Personal Growth: By participating in our initiatives, members gain valuable knowledge and experience about climate change, activism, policy-making, and community organizing. They develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills, which are beneficial for personal and professional growth.

Community Impact: Members’ contributions help strengthen community awareness and resilience. Whether it’s attending meetings, participating in digital activism, or working on specific projects, every action has a ripple effect, educating others about climate issues, and inspiring them to join the cause.

Policy Influence: Members can directly influence climate policy at local, state, and federal levels. Our organization is active in lobbying for sustainable and equitable policies, and members’ involvement amplifies these efforts.

Environmental Impact: The ultimate goal of our organization is to reduce carbon emissions and promote a transition to renewable energy sources. Every individual involved contributes to achieving these objectives, helping mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Global Significance: Climate change is a global problem that requires collective action. By getting involved with 350 Humboldt, members join a worldwide network of individuals and organizations dedicated to combating climate change. This collective effort is crucial for influencing global policies and bringing about real, substantial change.

Every action counts in the fight against climate change. Your involvement can make a tangible difference.

How to Get Involved

Given the depth and scale of the crisis we are experiencing, we cannot postpone what is required of us: facing the climate emergency, the historic task of our time. We need to break the inertia of indifference and to collectively overcome the feeling of helplessness in the face of the magnitude of this problem.” – Marcel Taminato, Climate Resistance Handbook

Digital Activism

Digital members read our monthly News Flashes and action alerts for quick, easy ways to take action. For those who are new to climate activism or have limited time, a digital membership allows you to build your climate knowledge or make your voice heard via petitions, comments, and emails to decision makers.
