Thursday, December 04, 2025 • 07:00 PM
Urban Environmental Lab, Room 106 • 135 Angell Street, Providence, RI
A presentation by a team from Brown's Climate and Development Lab. This is the summary of a brand new report from Brown's Climate and Development Lab, summarizing ten years of lobbying and testimony records in Rhode Island on priority bills supported by CARI and ECRI. The first half reviews the history and identifies the opposition; the second reviews arguments by top opposition groups and reviews case studies from neighboring states that overcame opposition to pass similar legislation.
CARI Holiday Gathering
Thursday, December 11, 2025 • 06:00 PM
Wild Colonial Tavern • 250 S Water St, Providence, RI
Join us for CARI’s Holiday Gathering — a casual end-of-year moment to be together, appreciate our volunteers, and reflect on a year that’s brought its fair share of challenges and meaningful progress. We’ll share a few words from CARI leadership about what we’ve accomplished, what we’ve learned, and where we’re headed next. Come meet people, reconnect, and celebrate the community that keeps this work moving.
