This Earth Day, we joined existing public pension campaigns in the US and Canada to launch and unite behind the new Coalition for Climate-Safe Pensions. Divest NJ was one of 12 states across the US and Canada who presented their campaign on Thursday, April 23rd on the national live stream of Earth Day 2020.
The showcase included the power of youth and elders coming together to move the enormous sums of money in our public pensions. The dynamic segment featured New York, California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Alaska, Texas, New Jersey and Canada.
