,
On January 23, we joined a protest at the New Jersey Resources (NJR) shareholders meeting in Farmingdale, NJ. This company is involved with the proposal to build a 28 mile Southern Reliability Link natural gas pipeline through the Pine Barrens, passing through 3 southern counties. We are TOTALLY AGAINST this kind of fossil-fuel build-out. We also protested plans to build the 118 mile PennEast pipeline from PA into Hunterdon and Mercer Counties in NJ.
Jordan, Ted and Jane were there along with environmentalists from a variety of organizations. There was a great spirit and spot-on chants. See photos and more information on our Facebook page: click here.
