Sorry for the mistake. The webinar is July 26, not in June.

Dear Martha,
Join us at noon Wednesday, July 26 (PDT)

Please join Climate Action California, 350 Humboldt and our coalition partners as we present “Fossils, Fertilizers, and False Solutions,” where we’ll learn about the many ways the fossil fuel industry’s alliance with agrochemical companies pollutes our environment, reduces biodiversity, and perpetuates the oil-based economy that is cooking the planet this summer. This is especially timely: This year the Congress MUST re-authorize the Farm Bill, a once-in-five-years opportunity to make a slew of spending decisions central to both the climate crisis and environmental justice across the US.

On Wednesday, July 26, at noon Pacific/3pm Eastern, Steven Feit, Senior Attorney & Legal and Research Manager in theFossil Economy Program of the Center for International Environmental Law, will discuss CIEL’s report, Fossils, Fertilizers, and False Solutions: How Laundering Fossil Fuels in Agrochemicals Puts the Climate and the Planet at Risk, and take our questions about what to do about it.

Sign up here, and please share with friends, neighbors, and networks!

Thanks,

Janet Cox, CEO
Climate Action California
