This summer we are sponsoring some outdoors activities that 350 members, other climate activists, and people interested in climate action can do together.
The next two events are:
- A guided walk in the Arcata Marsh on Sunday July 14, 2:00 pm. The walk will include observations by Gail Coonen, a Marsh docent, and Lee Dedini on sea level rise. We will meet on the deck at the Interpretive Center.
- A pot-luck picnic at the Arcata Redwood Park picnic area on Sunday August 25th at 1pm. 350 Humboldt will supply vegetarian pizza and apple cider. Bring children, games and – for those who choose – walking shoes.
Please write these events into your calendars now. More information closer to the events.

Also, on July 23rd, the Harbor District is having a meeting to show visualizations of the completed offshore wind port with turbines ready to be towed into place. The meeting is between 5 and 8 pm at the Sequoia Conference Center at 901 Myrtle in Eureka. Free pizza and drinks. Please plan to go and check out the future and lend it support!
