350 Humboldt is teaming up with the Climate Action Committee of the HUUF, the Humboldt Friends, EPIC, the North Group of the Sierra Club and the Renewable Energy Student Union to bring you a talk by Matthew Marshall. Matthew has been head of the Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) since its inception. RCEA is our community choice electricity provider and a strong advocate for renewable energy here on the north coast. One of the innovations they have pioneered is microgrids, as at the airport. This talk will focus on both microgrids and community solar. There will be a question period afterwards.
Below is a flyer for the event. The Zoom link for the event is right below the flyer.
The 350 Humboldt steering committee hopes to see you Monday the 4th at 7pm.
