This past year was deeply painful. So, we think it’s a good time to take a collective breath and revisit how we can move forward to restore our communities, our ecosystems, and our climate (and have a little fun).
That’s why we’re inviting you to tune in this Friday, June 4 at 3pm ET (noon PT) for the World Environment Day Concert, a special virtual concert celebrating our united, global commitment to build a better future together.
Image Description: “World Environment Day” sits at the top of the poster underneath an image of the Earth with the date “June 4th 3pm EST” on the left-hand side. Underneath are the names of participating artists and speakers including 350 co-founder Bill McKibben. The 350 logo and fellow partner organization logos sit at the bottom of the poster.
Now more than ever, we need to implement solutions to build a path towards a Just Recovery. This virtual concert is a moment for us all to come together and reimagine the world in which we live, through inspiring music and discussions. We can reflect on the new pathways we can create together.
The concert will be live from 3pm ET (find your local time here), and you’ll be able to watch online wherever you are — so RSVP and invite your friends to join this Friday, June 4.
We all have the power to inspire action, and we hope that through this virtual concert, people around the globe will discover ways in which they can connect with one another and step up and take action.
We cannot turn back time, but we can end fossil fuel finance, clean up our waterways, green our cities, invest in a renewable future, and plant new seeds. We hope this concert will be a step in that direction.
Looking forward to seeing you on Friday, Daniel.
In solidarity,
Team 350
