Have you heard? Bus Rides are free in Arcata for the whole month of June!
350 Humboldt’s Bus Adventures will take advantage of this great opportunity to get familiar with the Arcata Bus System by planning our next outing for Thursday, June 8 (that’s this Thursday).
Bus Adventures are a chance to get comfortable with public transit while meeting new people, chatting with old friends, doing something positive for climate change and exploring parts of our community. In the past, we have done hikes, lunches, picnics and a tour of Blue Ox.
BUS ADVENTURE #5:
When: Thursday, June 8 at Arcata City Hall at 10:15. We will catch the 10:26 bus.
What: We will ride the entire hour long loop so you can see what it covers. We will get off 16th and G at 11:31. Then, we will walk over to Phoenix Cafe for lunch. They have outdoor seating. Hopefully, you can walk, bus or bike ride yourself home after lunch. (If you need to drive to Arcata to join us, no judgment! Just join us.)
As well as chatting, we are developing a fun climate trivia game to share on the bus or at lunch.
The prize for the climate game is a $5 gift certificate for Phoenix Cafe! Come play and get part of your lunch covered!
Anyone is welcome to join in. Please let us know you are coming by responding to this email so that we can look out for you and connect. If jumping on the bus at City Hall does not work for you, let us know where you will get on so we can find each other. If we do not have your cell phone number (and you feel comfortable sharing it), tell us so we can include you on a group thread for that day.
NOTE: DO NOT use the online weekday schedule to plan your trip. In the summer, they use the Saturday Orange Route every day. Use the Saturday Orange schedule only.
