This summer 350 Humboldt has done some fun live events – we went for a walk in the Arcata Marsh, had a pizza party in Arcata’s Redwood Park and had a legislative victory celebration last week when the Governor signed into law some of the most important climate bills. See pictures below from that celebration and the Marsh walk.

Our last event of the season, a Hammond Trail walk, is scheduled for this Saturday, October 5th at ten am at the School Road entrance to the Hammond Trail, going North. From Arcata or Eureka go north on Highway 101 to School Road. Take it west a few blocks until it dead ends  in Fischer Avenue. Turn right. The entrance to the trail is a couple of blocks north. Park on the grass verge. The walk is only scheduled for an hour or so, but feel free to go on further if you feel like it. Out past Murray Road the trail goes through a lovely valley with a creek running through it.

350 Humboldt is also sponsoring Julie Doerner to do a chalk painting at Pastels on the Plaza Saturday. Please stop by after the walk.

If it rains, the walk is postponed til Sunday at ten; it it rains Sunday, til Saturday the 12th at ten; and if it rains again, til Sunday the 13th at ten.

We hope to see you Saturday!
