I'm in Inner Mongolia in China right now, and just wanted to send a picture of one of our biggest supporters, Ding Yaoxian, who runs the Association for Environmental Protection in the large city of Baotou.

Director Ding helped launch the Green Long March section in Inner Mongolia last summer (you can see the picture above his shoulder) and he and his large crew are getting to work for October 10th.

This is an interesting area–one of the largest coal-mining districts in the world, but also the place that may have seen the largest tree-planting operations in the planet's history. Director Ding himself has planted hundreds of thousands of trees over the years. That's Getting to Work!
