The stories from Nepal just keep on coming.  This latest photo came in today from a "Green Rocks, Zero Waste Concert" organized by our friends at the Nepalese Development Foundation (NDF).  The concert was also the chance for NDF to launch their new Energy Evolution (E2) campaign, which includes plans for 10/10/10 work parties across the country!

It's pretty fun to see the brand new 10/10/10 Global Work Party graphic find it's way onto a stage in Kathmandu already!

Here is what Bhuwan K.C., General Secretary of NDF, had to say about the work they're doing in Nepal:

“Nepal should move quickly towards low-carbon development pathways to acquire competitive edge within growing renewable energy markets. Nepal is placed in comparatively better position to lead the movement towards green economy. E2 will ensure that government in reminded about these factors which could be beneficial for country and global climate. We strongly support global campaigns like 350.org and 10:10 and will work with them."

It's quite remarkable to see such a dynamic movement in a place like Nepal, which has virtually no historic impact on the climate.  And it gives great hope that we will succeed in resisting the fossil fuel economy and transition to a clean energy alternative inclusive and fair to all people.  We're with you Bhuwan!
