As Chicago drafts its new Climate Action Plan, it’s important for us to weigh in.  We have several ways to give input: fill out a survey, complete a participatory budget simulation, or host a listening session. See below for more details from the City and 350 Chicago.

Chicago Climate Action Plan 2022

Chicago residents: Let’s make our voices heard!

With $188 million proposed investments on projects across environmental justice, community health, equitable energy and urban green cover, this new plan is the first update since the 2008 Climate Action Plan was enacted.

Tell the City what you would like to see in the new Climate Action Plan. The deadline is Feb. 15.

  1. Fill out the survey
  2. Do a budget exercise
  3. Host a listening session with your family, friends or a group you belong to.

For surveys and resources in other languages, please visit the City of Chicago’s 2022 Climate Action Plan website.

We’ll make sure your suggestions are included in our official response to the City.

* Join us at our next meeting at 7:30 on January 31st. We are hoping to build a coalition to push for strong climate action at the Mayor’s Office and in City Council.
