Join us for our June Community Meeting and annual Members Meeting next Wednesday evening, June 28. We’ll meet in person at Plant City in Providence and on Zoom. All are welcome.

Our guest speaker will be Amanda Barker, RI Policy Associate at Green Energy Consumers Alliance. She’ll give her perspective on the just-concluded 2023 legislative session, including three climate bills that passed in its closing hours. We’ll also have an open discussion with Amanda and CARI’s Politics Team on strategies that may produce more ambitious results next year.

It’s also our annual members’ meeting. This means we’ll take a few minutes to hold a vote for our new Board of Directors. The nominating committee has proposed a reshuffling of officers and a new addition, as follows:

• Vice-President (continuing): Abby Huber
• Secretary (new to Board): Diane Hill
• Treasurer: Will Nakshian
• At-large Board members: Justin Boyan and Brian Wilder
