TAKE ACTION
Tell Congress to fund renewable energy infrastructure!

After lots of pressure, and in a great win for our movement, last week President Biden issued an Executive Order invoking the Defense Production Act that will be used to expand American manufacturing of solar panels, building insulation, heat pumps, and more.  Now we need Congress to pass the Energy Security and Independence Act which would bring $100B of critical funding to accelerate the renewable and just energy future we so urgently need. Call or email your Congressional members asking them to co-sponsor and support this bill.
Name Climate Disasters after Fossil Fuel Companies! 350.org has a great new petition calling on the World Meteorological Organization and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to rename climate disasters after the fossil fuel companies that are causing them! Hurricane Exxon, heatwave Shell or wildfire Chevron? The world should know who is to blame for climate impacts! Sign here.
Stop the Oil Profiteering! We need to pass a Windfall Profits Tax on Big Oil that would put a tax on the excess profits oil companies are making because of the crisis and use the money to send a check to the people who need it. Sign here, plus, call your Congressional leaders and ask them to support the bill.
Tell Attorney General Garland to End Opposition to Youth Climate Justice

Sponsored by People Vs Fossil Fuels coalition, sign this petition calling on Attorney General Merrick Garland to end the Department of Justice’s opposition to the Juliana v. United States youth climate case! Despite President Biden’s promises to listen to youth and address the climate crisis, his DOJ is still actively opposing the Juliana case, denying the youth plaintiffs’ rights and seeking to prevent them from presenting evidence to a judge in open court of how their own government is causing them harm. We need our nation’s courts to do their duty and protect the rights of our children to a safe climate now! Sign here.

Protect Sacred Places

From the Native Organizers Alliance, add your name in support of the Advancing Tribal Parity on Public Lands Act and the Tribal Cultural Areas System Act here.
Stop PFAS pollution! Sign the petition urging the NC Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to limit the release of toxic forever chemicals into the Cape Fear River to a non-detectable level. Take action here.
