**Duke and Dominion both have their shareholder meetings this week!! You can join a couple pre-shareholder meeting actions live on Zoom on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Plus, take action by making calls and spreading the word on social media. Info from Drew below:

Check out this press release from Friends of the Earth and NC WARN about the new report: Former energy exec warns Dominion, Duke investors to abandon high-risk gas pipeline.

The No Toxic Money Pledge campaign launched in February, with just over 20 people who have signed the pledged so far. 350 Triangle has been working with Friends of the Earth Action, Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund, Red-tailed Hawk Collective, Sunrise Movement NC, and Food and Water Watch Action on this campaign.

Join us Tuesday, May 19, at 7 pm for No Toxic Money Pledge Volunteer Training!

Duke and Dominion Energy have been polluting our politics by using their customer’s money to pay off politicians with campaign contributions. We are asking everyone running for office in North Carolina to take the pledge to refuse money from Duke and Dominion.

This webinar will train activists on how to ask politicians to take the pledge remotely via, social media, email, and phone calls. RSVP here. Facebook event page here to help spread the word!

Some of you may have received this, but wanted to make sure you knew of this opportunity. 350.orgis launching a Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Leadership program, a training and leadership program created by Black organizers at 350.org dedicated to climate and racial justice.
