A quick email for now! The date of the Raleigh Duke Energy Progress rate hike hearing was changed from Feb. 3rd to March the 2nd. Wanted to make sure you didn’t travel downtown Raleigh tonight expecting to attend the hearing! The upcoming Duke Energy Progress rate hike hearing dates are below.
We need to bring our power to the Utilities Commission and tell Duke: No rate-hikes for dirty energy!

It is time to demand that our elected officials act to freeze all investments in fossil fuel companies and divest public funds from all investments in coal, oil and gas producers. Opening rally begins at 9 am, corner of Wilmington and South Streets near Shaw University, Raleigh The March begins at 10 am followed by the Rally/People’s Assembly. Join the NC NAACP and coalition partners for this year’s theme, “When We Vote, We WIN.” More info here or here.
