Climate Action Rhode Island is proud to endorse Sen. Bridget Valverde for a second term as senator for District 35. In her first term, Bridget was an advocate for climate action, co-sponsoring the Act on Climate 2020 bill.  Bridget served on the Environment and Agriculture Committee in the Senate, and if re-elected, she is committed to making climate legislation a priority.  Bridget understands that Rhode Island needs to be taking action by investing in green energy infrastructure to create jobs and move away from fossil fuels. Bridget has been an ally of the climate movement and is committed to working with environmental groups, including CARI, to keep environment and climate action issues at the top of the legislature’s agenda.
