October meeting – 10/17

Join us at 6:30, Monday, Oct. 17 at Hawthorne Hill Nature Center! Program to start at 7 PM.

Find out how electric cars work!

Paige Fitton and her two sons Mitch and Billy will explain it all. There are electric cars, hybrids, and hybrid EV cars. Mine uses gas when the electric is used up! I’ve had a Chevy Volt (HEV) for over 3 years now that has been trouble free (except for a flat tire!), and a Prius hybrid before that that was a great car, no problems!

Robin Migalla will have her electric motorcycle there for viewing! She beats us all at 500 mpg equivalent (I only get 120 mpg equivalent!)

SOIL program update also (Save Our Illinois Land).
