June 22, Learn to advocate for a carbon plan in the public interest!

Last month, we finally got a look at Duke Energy\u2019s long-awaited draft carbon plan<\/a>, and not surprisingly, were upset to hear that fracked gas is part of all four of their plans. Unacceptable! The final carbon plan will be determined by the North Carolina Utility Commission (NCUC), a regulatory body tasked with overseeing public utilities. \u00a0Join People Power NC (that 350 Triangle is a part of) to learn how to engage with the NC Utilities Commission, what to expect, and how to prepare for the upcoming hearings.
