Tonight\u2019s program featured Fight for $15. Next month\u2019s topic at the Gathering on October 1st will be ecological destruction.<\/div>\n

Sept. 5th to 19th The Fast To Support DEQ\u00a0<\/b>is a continuous, two week, water-only fast in front of NC Department of Environmental Quality offices at 217 W.\u00a0Jones Street in Raleigh from September 5th to 19th. Its purpose is to communicate the moral seriousness of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline\u00a0water quality permit decision and to call for its rejection by DEQ and the Cooper administration. Sept. 9th, Clean Water for NC\u00a0<\/b>will host Preventing Harms to Eastern NC\u2019s Water, Air, Communities and Environmental Justice Regional Summit from 1:30-5:30 pm at Wilson Community College.
