350 Triangle is a local affiliate of\u00a0350.org, a global grassroots network of local groups in over 188 countries working to solve the climate crisis since 2008.<\/p>\n
350 Triangle has been meeting since June 2011 to plan our 350.org<\/a>\u00a0Moving Planet<\/strong>\u00a0event in September 2011. We have continued meeting to organize several 350.org<\/a> events, organized a location and reception for\u00a0Bill McKibben<\/strong>\u00a0to speak in Raleigh on his tour in Dec. 2011, helped set up the location for\u00a0350.org<\/a>\u2019s Do the Math<\/strong>\u00a0tour to come to Durham, and helped organize buses from NC to attend the first Keystone rally in 2011, the\u00a0Forward on Climate Rally<\/strong>\u00a0in 2013, and the\u00a0People\u2019s Climate March<\/strong>\u00a0in 2014. In 2015 and 2016 we organized the showing of\u00a0This Changes Everything<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0 the\u00a0NC Virtual Global Climate March<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0Seeding the Clean Energy Future!\u00a0<\/a>with 350.org<\/a>\u2019s Road Through Paris campaign. In 2016 we brought\u00a0Josh Fox and his Let Go and Love Tour\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0to Raleigh and partnered with other groups to\u00a0organize rallies in solidarity with Standing Rock. We partner with local organizations.<\/p>\n 2017 was busy with\u00a0Climate Change Solutions for NC\u00a0<\/a>, walk along the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline route in NC,\u00a0and \u00a0Dr. Sandra Steingraber Creative Resistance: Fighting Toxins and Fossil Fuels<\/a>\u00a0program.
