We have several committees dedicated to fighting back against climate change. All of them are staffed by dedicated volunteers. Sign up to learn more about our mission!

Outreach and Education

We work to make citizens of southeast Michigan and beyond more aware of the science of climate change, its impacts on them and their community, and what they can do to stop it. Projects include an upcoming film series, various presentations around the region, and a Citizen’s Climate March on April 29, 2017.

Community Solar

Several southeast Michigan residents are interested in the potential of community-owned solar panels. This allows members of a community to share in the benefits of solar energy, even if they are not able to install solar panels themselves. For additional information on the science of community solar power, visit energysage.com, and sign up with 350.org to learn more about what we’re doing to bring solar to southeast Michigan!

We work to bring art in all its forms into the battle against climate change. From painting to sculptures, we raise awareness and give a voice to those fighting.

We organize phone banking and letter-writing sessions to bring our legislators’ attention to the myriad issues surrounding climate change, and assist with organizing upcoming campaigns. From the local to the national level, we make our voices heard!
