The Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary is in the process of being designated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as a sanctuary that would protect marine and cultural resources along 140 miles of Central California Coastline. On Thursday, January 27 at 6:00pm, 350 Santa Barbara will host an online community conversation with a guest speaker from the NOAA National Sanctuaries West Coast Region. Community members will have an opportunity to ask questions about the marine sanctuary and the designation process.
