We&#8217;re proud to support candidates who recognize that addressing climate change requires sustained leadership, thoughtful policymaking, and a long-term commitment to Rhode Island&#8217;s future.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The candidates we are endorsing have demonstrated a willingness to advance practical, science-based policies that strengthen the state&#8217;s response to climate change, expand clean energy, modernize Rhode Island&#8217;s energy system, and ensure the state continues meeting the ambitious goals established under the Act on Climate and the Renewable Energy Standard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;As communities across Rhode Island experience more frequent flooding, stronger storms, rising temperatures, and increasing energy costs, the need for bold, forward-looking leadership has never been greater,&#8221; Migneault said. &#8220;These candidates understand that protecting our environment and growing our economy go hand in hand.
