Rhode Island, and RI Working Families Party Partner to Host State Senate 28 Candidate Forum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clean Water Action, Climate Action of RI, Planned Parenthood Votes! Rhode Island, and RI Working Families Party will join together to conduct a candidate forum for State Senate 28 Race, moderated by Edward Fitzpatrick (The Boston Globe). The forum will be held at:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">William Hall Library<br \/>\n1825 Broad Street, Cranston Saturday, August 17th at 3:00pm<\/p>\n<p>This event is open to the public and will last for one hour. The questions will be given in advance to Mr. Fitzpatrick and he will be asking a few of his own questions to the candidates. Each question will be presented to the group to answer; there will be no rebuttals or debating. The candidates who will be participating are as follows (alphabetically):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Darre\u0300ll Brown<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Melissa Carden<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Bernice Morris<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Lammis Vargas<\/p>\n<p>This is a non-partisan event aimed at allowing candidates to introduce themselves to the community and to define their policies more. Said the organizations, \u201cHaving these four organizations come together to partner on a candidate forum is a great opportunity to learn more about the individual candidates and issues that are most important to them and helps set apart these four strong Democrats.
