Tom Wolf did as he promised to do&#8211; vetoed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/cfdocs\/billInfo\/billInfo.cfm?sYear=2019&amp;sInd=0&amp;body=H&amp;type=B&amp;bn=1100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">House Bill 1100<\/a> (Kaufer-R-Luzerne) which would give an unlimited taxpayer-funded subsidy to certain manufacturers for using natural gas through a new tax credit program.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The tax credit of up to $22 million a year would go to each company investing at least $450 million in a new facility which creates at least 800 jobs to turn natural gas into fertilizer, methanol or other products.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">&#8230;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/pennsylvania\/2020\/03\/27\/wolf-vetoes-natural-gas-tax-break-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gov.
