Critical Mass Ride Coordinator

350 Pilipinas is an advocacy organization that works for climate action based on the realities of science and grounded on the principles of justice.

350 Pilipinas is seeking a project-based Critical Mass Coordinator to lead in the organizing of a Critical Mass Ride in time for the 2022 World Car-Free Day on September 22.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

The Coordinator shall be responsible for the organizing and logistics of 350 Pilipinas’ Critical Mass Ride on Sep 2, 2022. Engagement will be from August 08 until Oct 8, 2022.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead the organizing work for the September 22, Car-Free Day ride
  • Networking and coordination with partner organizations and institutions
  • Securing permits with responsible government offices that are needed for the ride
  • Providing logistical support for activity 
  • Leading production work for 350 Pilipinas related to the ride

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete work according to priorities
  • Proactive and has initiative to work with minimal supervision
  • A high degree of tenacity and initiative combined with high levels of discretion and diplomacy
  • Must have own equipment to use for the job
