BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT
350 Pilipinas is a climate advocacy organization that works for climate action based on the realities of science and is grounded on the principles of justice by supporting grassroots campaign initiatives that promote a just transition of our energy systems to renewables.

The Campaign Support Staff  will support  the campus-based organizing work of the organization in pioneering campaign efforts to promote the shift to renewables via the government’s Green Energy Options Program (GEOP) by organizing students and other stakeholders 

Engagement will be from April 2024  until April 2025, with a possibility of extension.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Campaign Support Staff will be tasked with the following:

• Coordinating regular meetings and activities for the GEOP Programme in cooperation with the Advocacy Officer
• Collaborating with external partners in relation to advocacy activities related to the GEOP Programme.
• Providing regular updates and reports to the team on activities, achievements, and challenges.
• Carry out other administrative tasks for the organization as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in event planning and coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Familiarity with climate change advocacy and energy is a plus
• Prior experience in working with peoples organizations and nonprofits is a plus
