No Kinder Morgan Bailout

We are organizing a peaceful rally on Wednesday, May 9th from 5:30 to 7pm in front of MP Gerretsen’s office at 841 Princess Street.

RSVP Here

The purpose of this rally is for Kingstonians to express their opposition to Justin Trudeau’s proposed use of public money to bailout the Kinder Morgan pipeline.

Right now, Trudeau is considering using your tax dollars to bail out Texas oil giant Kinder Morgan’s floundering pipeline and tanker scheme. Dozens of First Nations still don’t have clean drinking water. We’re facing a housing crisis. Renewable energy projects are desperate for more funding. But Trudeau thinks there’s enough extra cash lying around to hand over as much as $2 billion to bail out a corporation from Texas?

We need to show the Trudeau government that taxpayers won’t let them get away with using our hard-earned money to bail out a billionaire oil corporation.

Your support is urgently needed. Attend the rally on May 9th, write a letter to the editor, write a letter to MP Gerretsen, sign our petition, or visit MP Gerretsen’s office in person to express your opposition.

Thank you and see you soon!

We Need You

With activism—and especially with climate activism—it’s easy to feel like the problems are so big you can’t do anything to make change.

We get that. That’s why we’re working together. The more voices we have calling for action, the stronger that call becomes.

Please get involved.
