Dr. Cathy Vakil is a family physician in Kingston affiliated with the Queen’s School of Medicine and Queen’s University Department of Family Medicine. She has a longstanding interest in environmental issues especially as they pertain to health. She has taught medical trainees about environmental health and has done advocacy work for many environmental organizations. Dr. Vakil has been a board member for Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment and Physicians for Global Survival.
