The connections are many; but sometimes, it&#8217;s hard to explain how it all fits together.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, our friends at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.germanwatch.org\/\">Germanwatch<\/a> produced a short film about Carbon Debt&#8211;whereby developing countries pay, through climate change impacts, for the Carbon-intensive lifestyles of developed countries. It&#8217;s one of the greatest challenges of our time, and one of the reasons that a truly global deal in Copenhagen is so important. This film dramatizes this conflict very well, and we hope you&#8217;ll share it with your friends.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to learn more about climate change and global poverty, we&#8217;ll refer you to our allies at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ecoequity.org\">EcoEquity<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfam.org\/\">Oxfam<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/povertyover.christianaid.org.uk\/\">Christian Aid<\/a> (who just produced a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/povertyover.christianaid.org.uk\/\">short campaign video<\/a> on poverty), and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.globalexchange.org\">Global Exchange<\/a>.
