The group COMET-ME (Community, Energy, and Technology in the Middle East) has been building and installing homemade wind turbines and solar panels as a way to provide safe, sustainable electricity to war-torn Palestine. But that could all change if the Israeli government’s orders to tear down these nascent projects for peace are carried out.<\/p>\n

The group JStreet<\/a> is trying to support these communities and COMET-ME by calling on Ambassador Oren, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, to work with the Israeli Minister of Defence and ensure that these projects not be destroyed.<\/p>\n
