At Everest Base Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was very cool to open up email this morning and find a link saying 350 is in Nepal&#8217;s largest selling newspaper, the Kathmandu Post!<\/p>\n<p>Led by our friends at&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/nyca.net.np\/\">Nepalese Youth for Climate Action<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.yes.org.np\">YES&nbsp;Nepal<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.yatra.org.np\">Yatra<\/a>, OESW, Nepal Development Foundation, and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.1di.org\">1 Degree Initiative<\/a>&nbsp;there are tremendous plans in store for the 24th in Nepal. &nbsp;From the Swayambunath temple, a world heritage site in Kathmandu to Lumbini, the place where the Buddha was born &#8212; there are incredible actions planned for the day. &nbsp;And to kick things off <strong>Pemba Dorje Sherpa, the world record holder for the fastest climb of Mt Everest<\/strong>, recently trekked up to Everest Base Camp with a banner that says, &quot;350 &#8212; Save Our Himalayas.&quot; &nbsp;And he passed on the banner to an expedition that will be attempting to take it to the summit in the coming weeks &#8212; weather allowing.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the full piece in the Kathmandu Post:&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\"
