Attention on highschool students! I am very pleased to introduce a new partner, the Global Challenge Award, and announce their new project, GCA-350…
The Global Challenge is an organization that teams up high school students from around the world to work together on projects dealing with climate change. There are awareness and action programs that students can lead and join as well as research programs. Whatever the project, the whole initiative is student-driven and selected projects can receive cash prizes or tuition support for college as an award. It’s a very cool way for highschoolers to link up around the globe and to unite all our efforts to fight climate change and remake our world.
Just recently Global Challenge launched GCA-350, forming teams of students around the world who are now planning 350 awareness campaigns now through October 24. So if you are in highschool (or if you know highschool students you can share this with), this could be a way for you to connect your own work on 350 and action plans for October 24 with students in another continent — not the mention the chance to win an award for your efforts too!
