In the United States, Vox <a>recently tallied<\/a>, wind capacity has grown more than 20-fold in two decades, and utility-scale battery capacity is up almost 30-fold in just five years. In Pakistan, <a>nearly five times<\/a> as much solar power was imported in 2024 as in 2022; the boom in Saudi Arabia has been even larger. Worldwide, solar capacity installation more than <a>doubled<\/a> since 2022. <em><strong>In 2024, more than 90 percent of all new power installed globally <a>was clean<\/a>.”<\/strong><\/em>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p><strong>A new method for refining nickel could slash the enormous carbon footprint of the processes<\/strong> \u2014 currently equivalent to that of a small country \u2014 <strong>by more than 80%<\/strong>.
