Ballot curing involves contacting the voter and notifying them their ballot is currently being rejected. We then walk them through the specific process in their county to allow them to prove their identity and get their ballot accepted. The most common issues we cure are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voter cast provisional ballot<\/li>\n<li>Mail-in ballot rejected due to signature mismatch<\/li>\n<li>Mail-in ballot rejected due to no signature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span><strong>What needs to be done?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>Thank you so much for all you and your 350 chapter have done to get out the vote and demand that every vote be counted. There is a way <strong>you can jump in right now<\/strong> to support every vote being counted: volunteering to help &#8220;cure&#8221; ballots (contacting people who have voted and whose ballots have not been counted due to a problem like missing signature). <strong><a class=\"openInApp-mtz\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/12zlvKNHmoqxOmtEGsbX-AWQz5bkahYtnHPmbg173xQI\/preview?pru=AAABdb1HcNw*Gp84aYb6IelfAj1Nn_Ne4A\">This document shares the target states and how to help &#8212; there are in-person and remote opportunities.<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Feel free to share this with others as well.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Thanks very much.
