A reminder that you’re invited to our General Meeting on Zoom beginning at 6 PM this evening. <\/strong><\/p>\n

We hope you can join us. Among other things we’ll hear from Dan Chandler about the serious climate impacts of commercial refrigerants — some have more than 10,000 times the global warming potential of CO2 — and how we can retire them in favor of “natural refrigerants.” A complete agenda is below.<\/p>\n

Part of what a land acknowledgment means is that we support indigenous people in their fight against a changing climate. Tonight we want to support the Anishinaabe peoples who are resisting the Line 3 pipeline that is designed to carry tar sands oil from Alberta, Canada to Superior, Wisconsin.
