I am administering a postcarding network in Humboldt County (presently over 300 writers) and we supply postcards and stamps to writers, which are available for cost at several convenient pickup locations. At present, we have just finished postcarding Wisconsin, so are at a lull, but new campaigns will be starting soon for several states. Have anyone interested in joining us contact me. We mostly postcard for ROV (Reclaim Our Vote), which is non-partisan, but have also postcarded for Activate America (which used to be called Flip the West), which is partisan.<\/p>\n

With the help of volunteers like you, we wrote 21 million postcards in 2020, and we saw incredible results! Voters who receive handwritten postcards are significantly more likely to vote. You can help us keep New Jersey and Virginia blue!<\/p>\n

The Biden administration will defend a five-well oil project<\/a> in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska approved by the Trump administration last year. (Politico<\/em>). This seems to be part of a balancing act to keep Senator Murkowski and other oil-favoring senators from opposing all of Biden\u2019s agenda. The Line 3 pipeline directly undermines the Biden administration\u2019s stated priorities of respecting Indigenous rights and responding to the climate crisis.<\/p>\n

From June 5 to 8, activists across the United States are heeding the call of Indigenous leaders and joining the Indigenous-led, non-violent action along the Line 3 construction route.<\/p>\n

Our demands are clear: Biden must listen to the people and direct the Army Corps of Engineers to immediately reevaluate and suspend or revoke Enbridge\u2019s Line 3 Clean Water Act Section 404 permit.<\/strong><\/p>\n
