Recruit city council or other city staff members for a city-specific webinar.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dear Mayor, Councilmembers and City Manager:<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re wondering how to fight climate change, join climate experts and local policy leaders for a webinar \u00a0Friday, January 14, 2022, noon -1:30 PM (PST). Panelists will address the implications of August\u2019s \u201cCode Red\u201d warning from the IPCC, available technology to \u2018electrify everything\u2019 with clean energy, and the vital role that cities and counties play in implementing near-term actions. This is a must attend event for local elected officials, municipal staff and the public interested in working toward effective responses to the climate crisis. This effort originated in the Bay Area but is relevant for all California cities. Currently there are over 500 registrants.<\/p>\n
