Thanks to the hard work of more than 40,000 Big Senders, nearly 5 million voters received letters encouraging them to participate in our democracy, and this week, we saw strong voter turnout for the midterm elections!<\/p>\n

Now, the Georgia Senate race is headed to a runoff, and voters will decide who to send to the U.S. Senate on December 6. We’ll be writing to Democratic-leaning registered voters who we think may be unlikely to vote. Will you join us to write letters to Georgia voters encouraging them to vote in this critical runoff election?<\/strong><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Dear Writers:<\/p>\n

I just realized (thanks to a helpful comment from a writer) that tomorrow is a federal holiday (Veterans’ Day) so the post offices will be closed and I can’t buy stamps. Since this is a very short but very important campaign, I think that the best course of action is for me to put out the packets with labels tomorrow, you to pick up the packets and leave the full amount ($14 per packet) and then contact me to get your names, addresses and script, so that you can start writing. I will probably not be able to get stamps until Monday, at which point I will leave stamps in an envelope addressed to you at your pickup location. That way, you will be able to do the writing over the weekend and mail your postcards by Tuesday. From Monday on, the packets will have stamps. However, I don’t want to wait until Monday to start this campaign, as time is of the essence. If this is agreeable to you, pick up your packets anytime from late tomorrow on, and when you ask me for names, let me know that you didn’t get stamps. I will make sure that you get them ASAP.<\/p>\n
