VOTE FORWARD – New program in Ohio<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re writing to young, Democratic-leaning women in Ohio to encourage them to vote in the August special election. Ohioans will be voting whether or not to raise the threshold required to pass citizen-led ballot measures from a simple majority to 60%\u2014meaning a future measure could be blocked by a minority, even if it\u2019s supported by a majority of Ohioans.<\/p>\n

The possible impacts of this anti-democratic effort to raise the vote threshold for citizen-led constitutional amendments in Ohio\u2014including on issues like abortion access and fair maps\u2014are far-reaching. Read more about why we\u2019ve launched this campaign on our website.<\/a><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll send these letters on a rolling basis, so as soon as your letters are written, sealed, stamped, and addressed, put them in the mail and download another batch! POSTCARDS TO SWING STATES — New program for fall elections starting June 22nd<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our postcard program for this fall’s elections in Virginia and Kentucky is almost here! Sign-ups start on Thursday, June 22<\/strong>. Look for our email or visit our website<\/a> starting on June 22 to sign up.<\/p>\n

In Virginia, we’ll write to rally Democrats to vote in 42 competitive state legislative districts this November. Democrats hold a narrow majority in the state Senate and Republicans hold a narrow majority in the House of Delegates. In Kentucky, our postcards will help Democratic Governor Andy Beshear win re-election in November.<\/p>\n

You’ll need to provide your own postcards and stamps for this program<\/strong>. We recommend progressivepostcards<\/a>, an online store that sells postcards with several of our designs for less than most sellers. We’ll add designs specific to Virginia and Kentucky before sign-ups start, but you can buy general designs there anytime. After you sign up, we’ll email you a list of voters and instructions, which will include an October mailing date and three short message options.<\/p>\n
