One of the first books that the 350 Humboldt book club read was All We Can Save<\/em>, a compilation of essays and experiences by 60 women edited by Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Katharine Wilkinson, both climate scientists. [If you are interested in reading All We Can Save<\/em>, the authors have set up a program<\/a> called Circles in which small groups read and discuss the book over a period of ten sessions.]<\/p>\n

Ayana Elizabeth Johnson has also laid out the best process we have encountered for finding your place in the climate movement. What is fantastic about it is that the answer is different for every person! Below we present a short version and also some links for more information.<\/p>\n\n

An interesting variation we have seen is to add a fourth circle that specifies “What you can be paid for,” if that is something you want to combine with your climate actions. To get an idea of all the different aspects of the climate problem there are (and the work that needs doing), you can try Project Drawdown’s list<\/a>.<\/p>\n
