ACTION ALERT!
The 350 Humboldt Outreach and Action Committee would like more volunteers to write letters and postcards stressing the absolute importance of the swing state votes in the upcoming US election. The outcome of the election on November 5th will have a huge impact on our futures – including the future of tackling the climate crisis. Also, your help is needed now and for the next few months at our information table with a focus on recruiting more writers! This is a perfect way to take local action that will have tangible and significant national and global impact. Research on letter writing has shown it to be instrumental in close elections; and voting or getting others to vote are the most important climate actions we can take.
